At least on the clips and fan comments I've seen, they're being extremely cocky about entering, telling the SEC they're "here to rule it" or something similar. As cringe as that clip is someone posted above is, I recall our entry celebrating the SEC and rarely making such claims.

It was nice not being around the Austin element for 12 years. Hate to say it, but doesn't look like the last 12 years has changed them. I have nothing against the Sooners, but so far they've been showing their arrogance all along the way well (e.g., taking the wagon to each school as if their fans care to see it comes to mind).

I honestly don't care what they did, but the roasting of us when we first came to the SEC and the ones calling OU a "poverty school" for their less than over the top celebration are the things that get me. Why do they care so much what anyone else is doing?? They're the ones who say that they live rent free in everyone's minds, yet they are the ones creeping on all the other schools. To hell with them!!

Their antics are childish.

Lets see what happens to their Director Cup opportunities after being in the SEC for a year. I honestly think the fan base has ZERO clue what is coming.

Cant wait. Been too many years now...waiting. All SEC teams want a piece and that's where we should all be laughing. It isnt just A&M that has a grudge.

Pit Bull was the main draw for at least hundreds of Austin-area residents who went to the 40 Acres last Sunday the day before the sips joined the SEC. Based on local Austin news "man on the street" interviews, numerous persons who attended the celebration did so because it was something to do that day in Austin, not because they were passionate about the sips joining the SEC. There just was not much else to do in Austin that day.

The night's main draw on the main stage beneath the sip tower was not Snakey, Eltife, Harzell, and CDC touting how great it is that the sips are now (or at least the next day going to be) in the SEC; it was Pit Bull's upcoming performance on that stage. Snakey even mentioned in his closing statements that he realized he was the only thing between the crowd and Pit Bull so he would make his comments brief.

More importantly is how they would have responded had we followed them to the SEC.

"Can't make it on your own without big brother holding your hand" would without a doubt been their outcry.

These azz clowns are very special when it comes to spinning any and everything. Yeah that includes an over the top celebration of joining a conference that they openly mocked especially academically the past 15 years.

The gloating about their record against the SEC. I've even heard some of them even brag about their all time record vs Alabama going 8-2-1. Make sure to congratulate them on those 6 wins from 1902-1973.

The SEC clearly went after mascots in this round of expansion. Castrated cattle and my little ponies.

I have adopted the "we can never change what they think or say about us" and all I can control is how I react to the things that they say. They make me angry, so I have to just step away.

The sips are the pig contingency from the Orwell novel Animal Farm. They proclaim things they don't like to be bad until they want them. Slowly they assimilate what they want and rewrite history as they see fit.

UT and its fans are literally Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks killed Russia under the tsar and ushered in Communism. I'd highly suggest anyone read up on the Bolshevik revolution and see how it relates to not only the tsip pivot to "SEC good, Big 12 bad" but also the current state of affairs in America.

I rode my bike from my condo at West Campus to the South Mall Lawn and crashed their party, but I did it in a black T shirt. If I had worn my Aggie gear, Texas fans would have heckled me. It would have been great to gather some Austin Aggies to crash their party in Aggie gear. I stayed for about an hour, took some pictures, and drank one beer before leaving shortly before the free Pit Bull concert and fireworks. I noticed how Texas fans are arrogant, entitled, and obnoxious. Texas fans claim we are the little brother to them and accuse us of being cocky, but they display that behavior way more than we do.

It was great not playing in the same conference as Texas for the last 12 years. It doesn't look like the last 12 years have changed their attitudes. They claim we hate them more than they hate us. I have nothing against Oklahoma, but they also showed their arrogance by bringing their wagon to each of the other 15 schools.

We did not need a pathetic revealing party gala. The Spirit of Aggieland spoke volumes to the world.

We showed we were honorable and of good character.
