I read it as he developed the program while he was at LSU. It's also likely not him running the Twitter account.

How are you running a customized workout business for schools and athletes and also focusing on your full time job as a S&C coach at Texas A&M? Noel Mazzone did this garbage when he was here too. Someone explain how this isn't going to cause problems when your personal business is eating into your time working for Texas A&M. Like it's been said, players spend most of their time with this dude, or they're supposed to unless he's getting others to do his work for him

His name and the program he developed is likely his only major involvement. Probably has other folks handling the day to day. At least that's what I'll tell myself.

He likely doesn't run that account and whoever is running the business operations of his consulting business chooses from some approved tweets to schedule months ahead of time. He should talk to his business partner about that, but not a big deal.

This, it is very common in business for someone on the marketing team to handle social media for employees

What 'student athletes' is he talking about?
Any particular university? Nationwide?

It is hard to tell who he is marketing to.

Before you jump off a ledge, try to get more context. Also before you want him fired....can we at least get one season under our belt?

For the jackasses, Moffit didnt just create this training program in the last 3 mos. Something he has been working on, and I am sure it was known by Texas A&M University. So go complain about something else. Nonsense.

Your'e probably not going to sell your program effectively saying you are the S & C coach at A & M. Hopeful that changes over the next few yrs .

If I was buying a S & C program I'd be thinking… Texas A & M? Aren't they the guys that are always beaten up and can't keep a QB healthy?

Why not ask Jimbo and his 44 Farms cow?

He just got here, so nobody's had a chance to see if his program has any results in maroon and white. The A&M section of his resume is still blank, so of course he mentions the place where he had proven results for years.

Or, more likely, he's not allowed to use his current employment at Texas A&M to promote his own personal products....

Pretty stupid thing to tweet and a bad look for the program IMO. It's little things like this that are seemingly harmless by themselves, but eventually combine and build into major issues that result in losses in recruiting and on the field. 100% chance that tweet is already being used against us by LSU. This is like something that would have been tweeted by a staff member under Jimbo. Extremely disappointing.

"Oh yeah, the guy that used to be here, is now working over there, but he put this program in here, so you should go here, even though he is still over there"...

He states "former" position in the post. We hired him because of his resume there... Would it be nice to say, "and current A&M", yeah, but he has no track record here yet. After he has a year here, and is successful, then he can add that to his resume.

Unwad your panties, we still have plenty ahead of us to get upset about, but this is a nothing burger.

Mazzone was the same way with the N'ZONE Offense system. It's annoying as a fan, because you want your University to be the sole focus, etc.

But twitter likes and posts have zero effect on performance. I think the results will speak for themselves on the field. Seems like Elko is more focused on that now. I do wish Moffitt was more active in promoting Aggie Athletics on his social page, Our brand is huge and he is directly responsible for their performance on game day. If you know anything about CFB, the strength coach is the ONE coach that spends the MOST time with ALL players and has the greatest direct effect on their performance.

Part of me also believes that this was part of his deal to come here. The guy is simply one of the biggest coaches in S&C. These constant scheduled longform posts are most definitely done by an employee of his or just scheduled posts. Would it kill him to do more to post about Aggie Football, probably not. But I do think this account should be separate.

Does NIL also extend to coaches? I know that coaches, especially head coaches get deals from apparel companies. Could he use his A&M position to leverage his company? Who knows.

He hasn't done anything at A&M yet....nothing to hang his hat on. Thought he was at LSU for a couple of NCs and LSU football more recog than A&Ms (historically and recently). It is what it is and really can't say A&M until we win something of significance (Div? SEC? NC?)...if we go 8-4 doesn't prove anything of his methodologies (many things in play there).

I went to the website for the Moffit Method several months ago and filled out a form. I was expecting to get some basic access to a few videos or something. Within a few minutes a S&C coach (not Moffit) called me and was asking me questions trying to determine what I was looking for. He then set me up with a trial access to their system. I was impressed.

He has to pitch his body of work for validation of his program. He has a VERY extensive one while he was at LSU. While not a single one of his TAMU players has had a game time snap yet. I'd do the exact same thing in his shoes. He'd be an idiot to use TAMU for this right now.
