Are you kidding me? Injuries stink but I think it might be time to move on.

8 years shot to hell.

He must take 6 hours each semester or he would have two doctorates by now. I guess his NFL prospects are nonexistent, lol

He needs to declare for the NFL now, so he can tell his grandkids that he left college early to take his shot at the pros.

Next year he'll have teammates who were in the 5th grade during his first year of college.

Maybe he should opt out so he doesn't get injured before the NFL draft.

I hear his kids are excited about his 9th year of eligibility. This year they will be able to drive themselves to the game to see him play.

Not sure if serious but with his injury history he has no shot at NFL.

That's one of the problems. With his injury history and multiple surgeries, all kidding aside (and I have joked a bunch on this) he could seriously jeopardize his health by even paying again.

In all honesty, as long as I'm entertained on Saturday I don't give damn about a players health or safety.

The NCAA needs to cut this stuff out. It's ridiculous.
Why? Who is it hurting? He's obviously not good/healthy enough to go pro, so it's not like he's some unfair advantage. This isn't like having a 21 year old playing HS ball.

Why ? Because it seems like now there are no rules in college football. Players can do whatever they please

I'm sure employers will really shy away from a kid with a graduate degree because he played a few extra years of college football. Do you remember that 27 yr old QB who started for (checks notes) Texas A&M?

Do you mean Mark Dodge?

He was a linebacker.

A 2 year doctorate? Yeah, that's not how that works.

This is the result of the NIL. Can you guys imagine a 9 year College Football Vet?
This is the type of player that would bring his teenage kids to the game on Senior Night.

We are already seeing this play out in womens college basketball. The top female hoopers are making more off endorsements in college than they would in the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark and the girl at LSU are biggers stars than any WNBA player because their targeted audience is a state/region.

NIL will be seen as one of the biggest game changers in college athletics.

Nor does taking 6 hours each semester. Should have used the sarcasm emoji so it might have clicked.

It hurts younger players. All the Covid BS is taking opportunities from the next gen.

And being 25+ is a big advantage.
Boots Radford (A&M basketball starting guard) will be 25 in April.
