After seeing the front page about Kevin Smith and thinking about my years at Texas A&M ('90-94), in my opinion those were the nicest looking uniforms the football team has donned. Right color of maroon with white pants sans stripes/logo along with with maroon belt and large block T on the helmet. Beating a dead horse but man those uniforms were sharp...

On a side note thinking about my dad Class of '65, last one to steal Bevo. Gig'em.

1990-94 are also the years that I was an A&M student. Therefore, that is exactly the time when everything (uniforms included) was correct.

Unis now aren't too far off. But I agree, I really love the huge block T on the helmets rather than what we currently have.

Wish we would ditch the high school style name across the chest all together. People know who are, it is on the helmet. Just put a small A&M logo center chest and bring back the maroon facemasks.

Hip logo gotta stay. The state outline with aTm is the best logo we've ever had and the only one that can contend with sip's logo.

Me too! Back when you could hit somebody!
I can remember my high school coach preaching to us that our helmet was the hardest thing we wear and he told us to stick people with it. Coached that every, single, day.

I was also a student from '90 - '94. Never missed a home game, and we went 23-0-1. Never paid attention to the uniforms. They were maroon and white. Beyond that, couldn't tell you thing about them.
