In America? Geeez, 2 teams and neither could get into the championship?

The SEC had one team in the playoffs

And the best SEC team was playing in the Orange Bowl.

I don't think Texas gets to the playoffs with an SEC schedule.

I think it's obvious that Texas should have been left out for Georgia last night. It's too bad our playoff committee is biased, as we could have seen a true playoff of the 4 best teams yesterday.

If that is true, then Georgia would have won the SEC championship game

The SEC foolishly admitted TX & OK, it diluted the talent, and made it harder to win.
Texas was one of many teams that pulled transfers from Alabama and GA. There was no reason to stay in the SEC, players bolted, because staying held no value.

The leaders do not understand the value of scarcity, or exclusivity.

They have sunk into a high paid, less physical version of the old SWC.

This is a classless, rogue conference that is corrupt from top to bottom.
South West Convicts have become the South East Convicts.

Lane Kiffin is the poster child for this conference as he drives his Nick Saban, Mercedes stealing players with other people's money, accusing others of being corrupt, with fake news Twitter accounts.

You're implying that Alabama and Sips are both SEC teams and couldn't get in. By that same logic, you would have to say we're the 2nd best Conference. No?

Having said that, based on alignment in 2023....

1. Michigan (B1G)
2. Washington (P12 to B1G)

3. Sips (BXII to SEC)
4. Bammer (SEC)
=========================
5. FSU - Lost to #6 Georgia
6. Ga - Beat #5 FSU
7. tOSU - Lost to #9 Mizzou
8. Oregon - Beat #23 Liberty
9. Missouri - Beat #7 tOSU
10. Penn State - Lost to #11 Ole Miss
11. Ole Miss - Beat #10 Penn State
12. Okie - Lost to #14 Az
13. LSU - Beat UR Wisconsin
14. Az - Beat #12 Okie

Final rankings should be something like:

5. Ga - Beat #5 FSU
6. Missouri - Beat #7 tOSU
7. Oregon - Beat #23 Liberty
8. tOSU - Lost to #9 Mizzou
9. Ole Miss - Beat #10 Penn State
10. Penn State - Lost to #11 Ole Miss
11. FSU - Lost to #6 Georgia
12. Az - Beat #12 Okie
13. LSU - Beat UR Wisconsin
14. Okie - Lost to #14 Az

It used to be that most of the top level talent wanted to play in the SEC. Now, a large portion of those guys are looking for the largest NIL deal, regardless of conference.

So no team can lose to another team worse than them?

Texas losing when they had the ball in the Red Zone to take the lead makes it obvious they should have been left out?

Two teams in the top 5. Any other conference do that?
