Stepped away for personal reasons at a couple of stops. So who knows what that means.

There's a good chance that even though I've done well coaching and mentoring you men... I'm probably not going to do well coaching football in the SEC.

Just putting that out there, but if you think I'm that good, I'm happy to step up.

I knew who McGriff was before we hired him, but didn't know he had been with Louisville. His coaching ability is superb. No issue there; it's kinda like when you have an opening at your company and you meet a guy who fills all the boxes, but you notice that the person moves around frequently. Could be the nature of the industry (coaching) which would be a good reason here. Then again, he doesn't have to satisfy me, just Elko.

That's the life of a coach in college football and the NFL.
Don't plan on putting down roots too long in any one place if you plan to advance in coaching.
