Let the players, coaches, schools decide.

Fans opinions are irrelevant but only for the impact on butts in seats and eyeballs on the screens.
Fans are the ones paying for those coaches salaries and buying the soulless mercenary players that only care about money. **** them all - if they won't put out a decent effort or exhibit a minimal amount of loyalty, the fans need to cut off the money. We've been getting cheated/scammed out of hundreds of millions and we're as bad off as if we never spent any of it.

Not gonna lie, I liked the old bowl system and awarding the national champion via the polls. New Year's Day was so much fun.

The Pop-Tart Bowl was the most enjoyable non Aggie game I've ever watched. Hell of a production. Should be the national championship game next season.

Do the bowls then pick the four most impressive looking teams to finish it up.

Make them matter.

Rather than the last game of the current season's schedule (except for the playoff for the championship), make them the opening day day of next year's season.

Henderson is a perfect example of why players that want to prep for the NFL draft skip meaningless bowl games.

What makes a game meaningless? As soon as you lose 2 games, which generally meant you were no longer in contention for the playoffs, are all games meaningless? Even with the 12 team playoff, once you hit 3 losses you are going to be out. Should players just quit playing after there is no realistic chance of being in the playoffs?

I'm good with all of these later bowls being a part of a much larger playoff.

Just curious, do the schools have to disclose who all is opting out for the Vegas folks?

They are completely pointless in today's college football landscape if you aren't in the playoffs and half of the team opts out.
No. SCOTUS would ream the NCAA if they did that.

Mandatory. I would be pretty upset if football was not on at all times this week.

Well played. Back to slavery for the college athletes.
