Pepsi products which Mr. Pibb and Fanta are not (Coca-Cola formulas.). 7-up is bottled internationally now by Pepsi but formula is owned by Keurig-Dr Pepper.

Fanta was created by Coca-Cola Deutschland and was widely available in Indonesia when I lived there in early teens. Probably due to Dutch influence there.

If A&M does ever switch to woke Nike, just please don't put the Jordan brand logo on the football uniforms!!!

When Sumlin was here, we had lots of different & sometimes Flashy Uniforms.

It's NOT Adidas. It's the Coaching Staff Decision.
And Nike is all about Names and Flash and Promotion. Their Products are inferior.

Thanks for the articles. Sounds like A&M is a premier Adidas asset because they need the Texas market and Nike has tu, so Adidas goes above & beyond to keep A&M happy.

I get it, but as an older gentleman who grew-up with Nike, I still like Nike better, but my younger son-in-law disagrees.

And yes, when I was younger I was asked to be in the Pepsi challenge commercial, but when they found out I could tell the difference between Pepsi and Coke before tasting, just by the smell, I was cut from the commercial. (Corpus Christi Sunrise mall 1982 or 1983, can't remember… LOL). Pepsi not only tastes bad, it stinks!

Growing up, I wore Nike for years. Started playing soccer and converted to Adidas. Funny cuz my two fav teams (Huskers and Ags) are Adidas schools.

Adidas is a global company and Nike is mainly the US? Try again. Nike revenue is $45 Billion and Adidas revenue is $25 Billion. Nike has about 1/2 their revenue in the US while Adidas is about 1/4, but Nike still has more non US revenue than Adidas.

I don't care who our apparel sponsor is. I assume it just goes to the highest bidder. However, why say something that simply isn't accurate.

And do you really think that the brand of shoes the teams were wearing affected the outcome of the games? It seems more likely to me that Nike has put their money into most of the best/biggest programs while Adidas is something of a niche brand (when it comes to paying schools to wear their sh**).

Year in year out, Nike starts the season affiliated with most of the schools who are going to compete for a national championship.
