Things like this are why I dropped my season tickets after 32 years.
When the TMF called me to re-up I told them I now charge a $10,000 appearance fee for any P5 college football game. Payable in advance.

There must be a backstory. Why quit the team for CFP game(s), even if you are the backup? Did he want to leave and the destination team insisted he come now or lose his place? No idea.

Ewers is coming back. Lot of very good QBs coming out this year. Plus he needs to show he can stay healthy for a season. Good news is they lose all their receivers and TE. That'll hurt worse than the QB.Batty said:

It's just more about Texas losing an important player prior to the playoffs. Shows they are not an elite level team. Bama does not have this happen.

If you follow college football you would have already known the sips were gonna lose Murphy to the transfer portal, the transfer portal window closes January 2, that is why he transferred now.
