1) Elite Studs - Guys that can pick their destination and name their price. Nolen is the only one on that list

2) PT Seekers - Guys down the depth chart leaving to get playing time elsewhere, likely at a lesser program. Max Johnson, Moko, Strickland, & Cottrell. I'll include Jake Johnson as well since he apparently wants to play with Max.

3) Delusional Dreamers - Guys who have started/played at A&M and think they can land at an elite program or get a bigger bag elsewhere. Chappell, Gilbert, Diggs, Overton, Bisontis, and Harmon. Good players, but definitely not elite. Will Bama, UGA, LSU, OU, tu, or any of the top Big 10 teams offer? Not a chance. These guys are looking at a lateral at best, and highly doubt they get the payday they think they will.

Kinda agree with this. As the # 1 DL in the country at some point you would think he would be almost unblockable or take over a game ? Even against lesser competition he never truly dominated his guy. He wasn't always double teamed.

Yes he's a great player but I would put Leal over Nolen after two years of both playing.

Nolan is the #1 player in the portal at any position. He can choose to go to any program and basically name his price. At the end of next season, he will declare for the draft and be selected in the 1st round.

No offense to Jake Johnson but how is he the #26 player in the portal. Dillon Gabriel and Kyle McCord and 30 and 31 respectively.

Ok. But if we don't bring in any #1 type guys, we get worse no matter how you characterize the guys who leave.

It's just based off of their rating coming out of high school, not how good they've been in college. So Johnson was a higher rated recruit than Gabriel or McCord were I guess.

This is delusional. We need everyone. Depth matters in the SEC.

Bisontis will field offers from many top programs....he's in category #1 easily...quit lying to yourself.

Overton also receiving offers from top tier.

Strickland has almost every top program offering (well, over 20 DI programs).

Chappell is considered a top 10 DB prospect in the portal, Harmon, not so much.

Diggs will go to a top D1 program, but will prob lean towards SU (due to ERob and close to home).

Think your scale needs work.

Imagine how good Bisontis could've been with good coaching. But apparently, he was infatuated with Addazio who ducked ass as a coach.

That doesn't really impact how the OL blocks. Doesn't matter what skill personnel you have out there if the defense is in the QB's lap.

Addazio sucked. Our guys ending up on their ass has nothing to do with the playcalling. Their technique was awful.
