Considering the situation I thought we have fared pretty good so far.

We lost 1 stud and 2 good players from our deepest position.
We lost our 3rd or 4th team QB.
1 decent TE but have 4 more just as good.
1 oft injured CB.
1 OL that never would have seen the field. 1 that was a part time player.

Could get worse but so far nothing decimating.

Over the last 2 years, we went 12-12 (6-10 SEC), including an embarrassing 17-14 home loss to Appalachian State. Even worse, we have lost 10 consecutive road games, dating back to a 29-19 loss at Ole Miss on 11/13/2021. We need to reshape our roster.

Teams live and die by the portal now. It's how things are. You don't just sit around thinking, "woah is me", you go get players from the portal. Anyone who says that you are clearing out room for people who 'want to play for X university' is living in the stone age.
