As I'm sure many have figured out by now, Max transferred to A&M to essentially becomes a part of Jimbo's coaching tree. He was happy with not getting a shot to play as long as he was able to learn from someone his dad trusted.
I expect him to be a GA when his time at UNC is through and maybe we'll be talking about him 10 years from now as a potential Collin Klein replacement after he brings home his 4th national championship to Aggieland as OC and moves on to KState as head coach.
As for Jake, good luck on the journey. I'm just glad we are in a position where a productive young TE transferring is not a huge loss.
