I think we would have been 8-4 at best. Going to the SEC, and hearing about how we don't belong, how we would get killed, etc. was great motivation for the team all off season.

Bama and ND would still be undeafeated that year and we would have been left out.

I'm tired of this stupid ****. An undefeated A&M would've been out in the cold with an undefeated ND and an undefeated Bama for college football to choose from. Quit this dumb*** narrative!

A conference that no longer exists. The teams that could have let that dunk star fire still would have and we'd be in there with Baylor and tech.

Where was the signature win going to come from?

Johnny won the Heisman largely because of the win over #1 Alabama. The Big 12 was not going to provide such an opponent that season.

All over the Houston area in 2011-2012 there were billboard signs saying THIS IS SEC COUNTRY with A&M written all over it rubbing it t.u.'s face.

We upgraded facilities faster because of the money we received from SEC tv revenue - and have been doing so for the past 10 years.

We have gotten to play the likes of Alabama year in and year out for 10 years while we made fun of t.u. playing Iowa State and watching the Longwhorn Network.

The list goes on but we did not squander anything. We happily took the money and grew our brand and school and now we are the biggest in the state.

Do you like Filet Mignon? If so, then stop worry how the cow was slaughtered (pun intended).

Just keep winning! We no longer need to hear of this "little brother" mentality, should've stayed in the Big XII or we may have done this or done that nonsense.
