I would support, if the players voted to support it, let the no voters stay home and have all of the supportive players play……play the 3rd and 4th stringers and have a good time.

I think letting the players go home now with all the transfers and decommits would be a horrible idea. Get them together and let Elko share his vision for moving forward.

There's an advantage for people who want to see the Aggies in Houston.. There's an advantage to beat okie lite again for old times sake. I think it could be a fun game

We quit on the gator bowl, terrible idea. Surprised any serious coach would do that.

Unless you are Alabama a single loss means "the season is ruined!"

Sure... And the people that want to see the Ags play will spend zero time in the gym and practice prepping for a meaningless bowl game.
Have you been to Kyle Field on game day? The only running some do is to McDonald's.

Ohio State says "hello"...

Because they have become 100% meaningless
They are scrimmages now.
Teams play with skeleton rosters due to portal and opt outs.

Because they don't love college football. Nothing wrong with that, it's not a cup of tea.
Bowl games are awesome. People complaining about more games to watch in the greatest sport on earth doesn't make much sense to me, the people have different tastes
The only advantage is extra practice time.jdls13 said:

This is sarcasm right? Hard to tell on this site...W said:
the Florida Cotton Bowl experience is forever etched in people's minds throughout college football
the opt-out depleted Gators were absolutely annihilated and embarrassed on national TV by OU
the program has still not recovered 3 years later
Given we almost have no staff left and Elko coached here two years ago... Maybe he should... I know it's unusual to bring a guy in and have him coach the bowl game... But this may be the case.Hawk2007 said:HoustonAggie37713 said:

Elko won't be coaching the game. There will likely be more transfers.
Plus, extra practices for the kids. They get to continue doing what they love. The like the swag that bowls give away. The 4-5 days leading up to the game is usually packed with cool activities.jdls13 said:

This attitude of "playoffs or nothing" is ruining college football and has already ruined bowl season.
