With 3 released/gone and perhaps more likely, I'm curious who will coach the bowl game? Would assume Elko already has replacements for Craig, Addazio and Petrino??? New coaches = new playbook???

I have confidence in Elko, but WOW. Going to be some hard work required in short order.

Won't Petrino and the others have to stay and coach the bowl game? I thought that was part of their contract.

We have a boatload of GAs and Offensive and Defensive Analysts that can be "promoted" for the bowl game if needed.

A fired coach never stays for a bowl.

And you wouldn't fire them if you wanted them to.

The bowl will be duct tape and baling wire (as they frequently are).

Good to see that Elko has the will to fire a coach when they're not performing. Already showing signs of improvement compared to the HC he replaced!

Unless you're in the final 4, bowl games lose most of their meaning. They are no longer the "best against the best" they're the "best of what you have left over from NIL transfers and NFL candidates" vs "yours of the same".

So did the hook route (come back if you time it right). As well as the cut & slant route from Cap Boso, guaranteed 7yds every time.

Game ? Granted they won't be motivated to do
Much. The only advantage I see to playing a bowl game is Elko gets to evaluate players.

I don't really care about the bowl game. I'm more interested in knowing the extent Elko will be involved in the additional practices.

No they are gone

Nobody cares about bowl games.. glorified scrimmages

Those coaches are not sticking around at a job that no longer wants them
