If it's true Bjork's agent and Stoop's agent are the same this would reek of conflict of interest and hiring to Jack up prices and contracts instead of trying to make the best hire for the university.

I've seen zero reports that we made him an actual offer.

Yet people in Kentucky thought Stoops was gone. And even 247 reported there was an offer.

Truth outs…give it time. Doesn't matter what happened other than proves our firing of Jimbo was pandering not thought out.

Someone got really angry about Jimbo and failed to think it through. We have roughly a 10% hole in our football operating budget through 2031 with no plan.

It's a great time to have relationships at several levels including some first-time coordinators with 3-4 years in the role who are attached to success. Might be able to pay off the hole and look smart with the gamble.

I'm going with our leadership doesn't actually get outside College Station enough…

People will now say that we had an offer and acceptance from Elko the day Jimbo was let go, since Elko is who we got.

If the BOR rejects it is dead. I think the governor is the only one to override their decisions.

I think the fact that Elko told Duke earlier in the week he was staying means he was told the job was going to someone else. There is more than enough evidence to conclude we had chosen Stoops until the blowback last night.
