They feasted on bad offenses. Any time we played a team that could pass the ball we got shredded. Urkin exposed our weaknesses vs trying to hide them.

A&M went 0-5 vs. top 50 offenses

Miami inexcusable especially since it was obvious that what were doing was dumb.

Ol Miss and LSU are two of the best offenses in the country. Defense kept us in those games until the wheels fell off the offense

Need better talent at CB. Need better coaching for all defensive backs

Ole Miss ran the length of the field at the end to score the winning TD. All Urkin had to do was get one stop to win that one.

We scored 33, 35, and 30 in 3 road games and still managed to lose all 3 road games, 2 of them by 12+ points.

It isn't the defense. It's the officials. In this game, and the other two. Hell, in any game we've lost since joining the SEC. Always the officials.

Seems they folded in certain circumstances, but they were still one of the better defensive units in the country, especially on third down.

That's exactly right..it's everyone else's fault because everyone hates A&M and is out to screw them. If A&M wants to be big time football, they should probably start by dropping the little man syndrome.

Did they play well enough in the 2nd half today at LSU giving up 21 4th quarter points?

Or did they play well enough giving up 48 to Miami? The same team that NC State almost completely shut out.

How many points is the offense suppose to score 50?

We have a ton of 5 star talent on defense but the offense needs to score 50. Ok, whatever.

Offense also runs at a slow pace to limit possessions. The defense wasn't good this year. It was closer to average than good. Competent offenses had little trouble scoring.

Defense gave up 41 to Miami. At least get your facts straight. And 14 of those 41 came on egregious offensive penalties where the zebra's ate their flags on.

Remember when the defense ran back a TD on a blocked FG and was scoring as many points as the offense in the first half and the only reason the Ol Miss game was close? Or when the defense threw the INT in the endzone..oh, wait, that was the inept offense Or when ANOTHER A&M FG was blocked at the end of regulation that could have tied the game.

Remember when the offense scored 13 against Tenn (the same Tenn team that gave up 27 points to Duke) and the defense held them to...13 points but the ST gave up a TD on a crappy punt so Ags lost by 7. That same A&M offense had a chance to tie the game on their own 45 yard line with 2-minutes and...interception, game over.

We can play this "what if" game over and over, but the fact if the defense has played good enough to win all but 2 games thru 2022 and 2023 but the offense has continued to sputter and stop/start in SEC play (App State too!).
