Someone text me this morning asking if I had heard he was interviewed.
Not sure if true , and how I feel about it.
I know he's coached a long time, won a few National Championships right down the road at Blinn and can recruit the Texas , Louisiana kids.
He's won at Tulane , even with their difficult admission standards.
I thought A&M would go after a bigger name , coach from bigger school.
But if Traylor is interviewing , I guess it's possible the Tulane coach could get an interview as well.

He's 63 years old and never coached at a major program. Very hard pass.

Agree he's 63, I would rather someone younger.
His coaching career consists of Blinn, Sam Houston locally and then Tulane. (Not exactly a head turner for coaching stops ) but he's coached Tulane to rather impressive record and has a ton more experience than his counter part in UTSA. If that's the level of coach we seek.

Traylor isn't an option either and neither is ole Willie.

I'm glad Lagoag spoke on this, finally someone who is in the know on the situation.
I know it's unlikely for you to reveal it , but with your high up sources within the program.
Any chance you could give us hint ?

Tulane was ranked last time I checked

Dang it. Seems like that's what I hear while looking for a job. Easy on us 63ers. We still got some in the tank.
