I'm really not sure who we hire now as head ball coach. Lanning said no, DeBoer seems unlikely since they're gonna be in the PAC-12 Championship game and maybe the playoffs, Elmo's Duke team is 6-5 and just lost to Virginia, and I really do not want Traylor. So unless we're just gonna keep ERob, which seems kind of doubtful but I definitely would not be against, I'm not sure who our guy is right now.

Don't forget what Elko did with our defense while he was here. We had a top 5 defense in the country 2 years in a row under him. & that was before our defense was littered with 5 stars.

I think there is a decent chance of getting Dabo.

Dabo benefited from laundering "NIL" money through a church (New Spring) before NIL was legal.

No thanks.

...and Saban laundered money through brown paper sacks. And you would take Saban, correct?
To be real honest, when Maurice Clarrett and Hernandez (Fl) and Briles (Baylore)... even our very own with Jimbo and Jameison.. were doing their thing, I resigned myself to never winning a Natty.

I'm not cutout to accept the things some are willing to accept and therefore know I'm working at a deficit.

Am I willing to accept a CB like Harris to run the risk of killing someone in a parking garage in order to have the #1 CB... likely a 1st Rd CB on my team so we can win? No.

As an Aggie, I didn't like bringing in Jimbo because it was more important to him to have Winston so that he could win a Natty... than it was to cut his ass. But we hired him away because some Ags want WINNING over all things. So, here we are.

I'd rather go 0-11 than win a Natty knowing we excuse Felons and let them play.

But that's just me.

Part of that was Jimbo's doing. Under Sumlin we had a terrible D because the O would score quickly and the D would get right back out on the field. At that point, we didn't have the depth and got rolled late in games... and late in the season. By the time late Oct and Nov rolled around, our DL was spent. Our stops on 3rd D would slip and the other team's O would extend drives and game over.

Jimbo was excoriated because he didn't play up-tempo or these modern Os. Mond would run the clock down under 5 sec and Jimbo was basically shortening the game by bleeding the clock. Similar to what App St did. If you look at our TOP under Sumlin (unusally around 27mins) vs Jimbo (32-35), our D was on the field for fewer plays and a shorter time period.

Why does Riley always have a terrible D? Same reason. HTH.

Oregon St had the ball last night for 37Mins against UWash. Had Oregon St not had 2 INTs, they'd have won that game.

Traylor is growing on me. Clear eyes, full hearts, never lose vibes. Still hoping for more of a splash hire, but I think he has tremendous upside

Rookie posts like this (as well as all the different Traylor posts) are feom those hired by Traylor's agent to pump him up and try to keep his name visible.

NO NO NO TO TRAYLOR TRASH!!!

Need to hire anyone that can keep this team together. They are poised to be very good next year with just some competent OL play. The defensive line is at a championship level. Same with salvaging the recruiting class and winning in the transfer portal in the off-season. This team would make the top 12 next year with minimal changes, just need to stay healthy at QB.

If Robinson can do that then he should be given very high consideration.

If Kiffin would actually take the job then I think he could do it as well.

I think Deion could be a recruiting monster and he would for sure take the job.
