What reason would he have to stay in Brazos County? If he does coach again, it won't be there. His buyout money makes it possible for him to live wherever he chooses.

Jim had to deal with some serious stalker drama when he left FSU, he's probably going to wait it out until the smoke clears just in case. He's also probably depressed. The guy did care, and he's become a national joke. He got paid well for it, but it is still fairly sad to see.
