Why is Robinson interim instead of Petrino?

Was here prior to this year and prior to this staff.

Robinson is probably more likely to be here next year than Petrino

Bad experience is not necessarily better than less experience.
Let Petrino focus on the offense instead of trying to manage the team. Robinson has been here longer so knows how everything is run to try to keep familiarity and continuity with the players.
Riley, Sarkisian, Dabo, Harbaugh, Kiffin, Petino, Bo Pelini, and Gruden would be interesting choices, but seem unlikely.

There are other (DEI) reasons to explain that.
I think he has the best connections of all the players....Petrino still new and really only spends time w Offense and QBs.
E Robinson should be kept and maybe doing an interim interview to step up. He's our best recruiter too IMO.

Ken Dorsey could be an emerging name, but we need permission from the Bills to interview.
Robinson has earned it and he's likely the better option to keep the locker room together.
