He makes almost $7.5/yr not $4.85.
To get Lanning we'd need to pay Jimbo $20mm plus then pay Lannings buyout at Oregon also another $20mm and then probably pay him north of $9m a yr as well. Jimbos $20m initial pmt is doable imo . But $40mm out the gate is a pretty damn tall task even for us.
I'd personally love Lanning but someone like DeBoer, Schuman, or even Drinkiwitz would be much easier to get.
