Hey everyone,

Visiting with friends from Canada and heading to the Miss State game. Wanted to get some ideas is what we should do pre game and parking etc. is it easy to get parking if we just drive up to any lot?

Welcome to Aggieland! Make sure to arrive plenty early to check out the tailgates and watch the Corps.

There are even free shuttles that come in from way off campus…. Wear your team colors & the Aggies will be welcoming & hospitable.

If you get to College Station the night before, try Midnight Yell Practice, held in Kyle Field… if you have time from arriving earlier in the day, try the Bush Presidential Library.

FYI: Only clear tote bags of a limited size are allowed in Kyle Field & no umbrellas, so if the forecast is for rain, you might want a poncho.

We got a bad ass DJ, super bright flashy ribbon boards but terrible cell service inside Kyle. Don't forget to listen for the 3rd down bells!

Make sure you are willing to spend some coin. Prices have edged up slightly over the years.....

I hear bama do it, I've heard high schools do it. TONS of people do it so let's do what everyone else does! I love that that A&M is unique and people don't get us and think we're weird. Screw em! I love going to games and opposing team fans asking..." What in the heck is going on and why do you do that?" That's what's fun about our awesome traditions. We make it a point to pick an away game each season and have been to damn near every SEC stadium. Some like Bama and Georgia are glorified High School stadiums.

Have fun Canucks and grab an Ag and ask them about why we do stuff when you get to Kyle Field!

Welcome to Aggieland. Arrive 3 hours+ early. Park on George Bush Ave just south of Stadium for $20. Walk through Aggie Park & enjoy tailgating. If you follow a sports team, any team, wear your colors & tell tailgaters where you're from. Lots of food/drink for interesting visitors. Catch the Corp & Band marching on campus 90 minutes before game. Be in your seat 30+ minutes before kickoff. Watch the bands drill at halftime. Enjoy. We're an old military school with lots of unique traditions.

We haven't exactly given the nation much else to get excited about.
Maybe we should win some meaningful hardware?
