I didn't say don't score. Just don't do it on 1st down.
Doesn't matter. There's no guarantee that they'll score on subsequent downs in an attempt to run down the clock.

If you're tied or down, I want them to score no matter what.

As they should. That KU team didn't get lucky. They're good. They have players. Leipold wins, everywhere he goes. His trajectory has only been up. Recruiting, wins, etc.

With all due respect, that's not a good argument.

You judge on the talent he can get and the competition he plays against. You also look at where they were before he got there.

Agreed. I'll add that Oklahoma should have lost to UCF, but the refs gifted them a field goal at the end of the second half that ended up being determinative.
