If you're unimpressed with what Jimbo has gotten us with elite talent just wait until he's got a bunch of 3 stars trying to implement his offense.

In the age of nil and transfers I won't get too twisted over this. We can afford to play that game when the time is right

It's short sighted but what else can be expected. We're playing with a backup QB, have clearly restricted the offense as a result and he's making decisions based on what he's seeing. And that's pretty pathetic. Backup or no backup, we should be able to produce more than we have on offense.

You have faith in transfer portal..? We have done almost nothing in portal last year.. we got a mediocre CB who gets burned a lot, a highly rated former HS CB that can't get on the field, a decent #3/4 WR.. so we have been awful in the portal and guys like Saban, Kiffin, Riley, Prime all will get their pick of top transfers and we will get the leftovers.
So yea losing a top WR recruit is worse bc we aren't great in portal

Can't blame him. I'm assuming LSU is the main culprit and at the very least, their offense is high flying. Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas are putting up monster numbers and both are likely 1st or 2nd rounders in the upcoming draft.

He's just seeing if he can get a better NIL deal somewhere else. That's all recruiting is these days. It's not about winning programs or great cultures. It's simply about where these kids can cash in the most. If you win some games along the way...great. If not...at least they got paid.

No one is coming to A&M because of Jimbo or going to Texas because of Sark or going to LSU because it's faaaam-leeeee. They're going to those places because of NIL deals.

9 pts in the last three 2Hs...I wouldn't want to play in this garbage offense either. Who was the last WR that Jimbum had drafted high? Kelvin Benjamin?

When we lose highly rated Corners or OL I will care
WRs we have plenty and there are always good WR that will want to be here. WR recruits imo are the position players that most underperform their expectation

This guy probably has multiple options choices given he is considered to be one of the top 20 prospects at WR
Even if you consider A&M to be the 30th best destination for WR spots at better destinations will fill up
If your other options are Waco, Starkville, Stillwater, etc being an AG is a good choice
And rumor is we pay really well

Decommit. All on Clown Jimbo and staff he hired and staff defending him.

I hated Fisher covering for Jamis Winston's allegations at FSU.

I hated Patrino lying about having an affair with a young coed.

I really don't care what happens until they are gone.

That's an insult to the better high school offenses currently being run around the state. Don't drag them through the mud.

Unfortunately this is most likely the case. Long gone are the days of recruits choosing a school because of, y'know, the actual SCHOOL. They're all hoes for the cash

This ass-backwards, short-sighted mentality is part of the problem that has hampered the program for decades. We just don't understand how to play the game. You don't hope recruiting tanks in order to help get rid of a coach. Say what you will about sip, but they understand that when a coach is on the way out, that's the time you INCREASE support (recruiting $) so that the next coach doesn't have an empty cupboard to work with. Hopefully one day we'll figure it out but i'm not optimistic...

To be fair, before Conner got hurt, he was making our WR look really really good.

Better coaching could have won the past two games but it's hard to completely ignore the fact the offense went in the tank when we lost Conner.

A healthy Conner + an OL that's even 1/10th better would have some fantastic WR numbers. I highly suspect this has more to do with depth. If I was a WR i'd be looking at the fact that there's so much depth in front of me that a guy like Moose in year 3 isn't even a starter.

If recruiting tanks then there is no reason not to fire jimbo. It is his only bright spot and it is fading.

There's about 3 other commits from East Texas that are tight with Miller.

Better hope the dominoes don't start falling.

Though, I can't blame any of them. Losing begets losing, just as winning does.

Georgia, Bama, Ohio State, and LSU are regularly competitive for a National Championship. We need all the help we can get. Then again, all of these #1 recruiting classes we get have not amounted to a hill of beans.
