Report on Knox TV: Ag fans prayed for fallen Tenn fan

Just saw an amazing report on Knoxville TV. A Tennessee fan collapsed and fell down into Ag fans in front of him during the game. He was having spinal nerve attack which left him unable to walk. The Ags asked him if he believed in God and prayed over him. The fan later underwent emergency spinal surgery as he had a pre-existing but apparently unknown spinal condition.

He said being at the game may have saved his life.

Those Ags who prayed for someone they did not know had an amazing impact!

Perhaps someone who was near this situation can provide more perspective. This is what I got from the TV story

Nice to see people looking out for each other regardless of school affiliation. The games aren't that serious and too often bring out the worst in folks

To put it in perspective: read Revelation to get just a glimpse of the Heaven surrounding the Throne of God. And now imagine every prayer you pray is received there and frequently answered immediately though we know from the book of Daniel that the answers can be sent by messengers who are delayed in delivering their messages by powers and principalities.

Those who will in moments like these choose to pray are peacemakers and citizens of the unseen Kingdom as well as royal emissaries for the King.

That some are also Aggies should not surprise us any more than that God answers prayer.

And I suspect if he'd said "no" they would have just left him alone, instead of all of that dumb stuff you mentioned.
