We lost to #11 Alabama by 6, then on the road to a top 25 Tennessee team by just 7. We controlled the first half against both teams and had a chance to win in the 4th quarter. Show me any other 4-3 team with a resume like that. I don't want to get too far ahead of ourselves. but I think we could legitimately be the best 4-3 team in the country.

I agree. Kinda like we were the best non-bowl eligible team last year.

Reminds me of the season that got RC canned. Barely lost a few games and then put a bazillion awesome players into it the NFL who RC had developed. I'm not saying I know what to do then or now, Rather I'm saying that these "almost there" situations suck.
