Why do people think they have to stand to yell?

The reason students are supposed to stand...is to show their readiness to go in the game if needed.

I get the students but like this guy said.. sit down.
Why stand? There is no reason at all other than to be a me me me Dick to others around you. There are elderly people who cannot stand easily , have some effing respect for others
