Former 5 star recruit. 4.3 speed

Jimbo said he wasn't hurt when asked after the New Mexico game, but that he just hasn't played

Seems like a coverage corner w actual speed would be worth a shot.... at least a few possessions a game?

If he can't beat out DeBerry, he must not be very good

He keeps wearing sleeves every game.

Deberry was second team all acc last year if I recall. I don't think Grimes made the list in the same conference, if that tells you anything.

If he's injured disregard...

If he's buried on the depth chart how do you not at least consider putting him on the field?

Having deberry getting burned over & over bc he's playing out of position, but expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity


This could all be said be said for Bobby Taylor as well... More elite secondary speed that we're too smart to put on the field

I think the heart of the question goes to our coaches' judgement.

See the QB decisions last year, Moose, etc...

He busted at UNC. It happens.

Isn't that an indictment of our talent evaluation?

Deberry was a nickel there, fwiw.
Not a cornerback… even Boston College knew he wasn't fast-twitch enough for Corner in the ACC.

Jimbo/Durkin: "good enough for SEC tho, even after New Mexico & Miami picked on him". I like the kid, but put him where he can be successful.

This. He's physical. He has talent. But he absolutely is not a man on man guy. He's been burned far too many times. He should have been pulled and a true cover corner replaced him.

While we're all over BeBerry, wtf is Mathews at SAFETY looking in the backfield for while a guy is running by him?

I was sitting w/a former A&M & NFL Safety & we both looked at each other dumbfounded. TJ Rushing should be on the hot seat.

They need to move TJ Rushing strictly to a recruiter. There has been no development at the corner position during his tenure here.

Why Jayvon Thomas or Bravion Rodgers haven't seen the field over DeBerry is crazy
