Trust me, it's rat poison (apropos of facing the iconic Nick Saban) to the core, and a military mind game by any rational account.
You'd better believe that bama overlooked the sips, and probably o.p., to pack in extra prep for this game. We will see a radically different bama team on Saturday...roughly along the lines of us in our last game of '22.
We might also see a radically different gameplan from the zebras, too. If there's enough "knives out" (apropos of the high drama in the lower house of our Congress) sentiment they might actually call a fair game vs. bama. In a game bound to be this close, you'd also better believe officiation is likely to determine the outcome.
The one comfort I take at this time is that year after year Jimbo has also had the A game on the field for bama. I am taking that as a given, and trusting Jimbo to keep the rat poison far away from the players.
