He is the backup, so this automatically means he's better. In fact he's probably Jimbo's secret weapon.

Since we can't recruit good LTs, we are recruiting lefthanded QBs.
This way the quarterback can see exactly who is going to kill them.

Jimbo won't this Saturday, but give Henderson snaps on short yardage and redzone to give him experience and utilize his athleticism

I'm not here to promote any specific quarterback as a back up to Johnson.
However, is Blake Bost not even a consideration?
Just asking as I never see his name mention.
Is there a specific reason?
None of the back ups now have meaningful playing time so it can't be that.

If he was QB3 he probably hadn't had a lot of snaps with the 1s or 2s, so too early to judge him.
