Apparently we've been saying it wrong the whole time. Not "ay-chain", but "ay-chan". I guess he was too polite to correct everyone, like Hakeem (known for years as Akeem) Olajuwon.

A PSA: After his four touchdown performance Sunday, Dolphins’ rookie RB Devon Achane informed the team that, moving forward, he would like his name to be pronounced De-Von A-Chan.

Not A-Chain, as it currently is listed in the team’s media guide. A-Chan.
