If I'd have been upset enough (i.e. if we were better), I'd have written to the SEC Network irate that:

1) We were kicked off of SECN when SOP has always been for the later game to start on ESPNEWS.
and
2) There was no ESPN app/SECN+ stream of our game. That was the entire point of the SEC Network, to pick up all of the games that weren't otherwise televised.

If it's just us b****ing to ourselves (myself included), then I am expecting to hear nothing on this.

It wasn't about them cutting away from our game that was the issue. It was that they said the game would be on the ESPN app or espn+. The game was on neither at the time they cut away so it's just poor execution by ESPN. Totally inexcusable.

We could literally watch any ESPN game in the country except ours…

And why is it so hard to give a few minute warning they're about to do it? Instead of just abruptly doing it? Same when changing from one channel to another. I don't get why they can't wait until right before a commercial break and say something as simple as "at the end of the break the game will resume online (or on espn, if bumped to espn news to start the game because the previous game ran late)." I think that's the most frustrating part. Give a little ****ing warning. And do it at a time that makes sense.

I don't think people are so much angry about it being bumped as it's the fact that ESPN did it w/zero warning and neglected to put the stream up on ESPN+ until there were maybe 2 minutes left in the game which was something like 20 minutes in real time. Also, not only did they take way too long to set the stream up you also had to find the game using the search feature b/c a thumbnail to view it never popped up anyone on ESPN+ in any of their poorly laid out sections that feature college football.

Also, lol at telling people to just go to the game if they don't want that to happen. That completely misses the point that a lot of us pay for cab;e/streaming and ESPN+ specifically b/c it's not always possible to attend. The fact that they pulled it and said it would be on their streaming service but then neglected to actually have it up on said streaming service until so little of the game was left that were just running out the clock is pathetic on their part.

ESPN didn't leave the FL/TN game which was beyond over to go to the beloved Coach Prime game. They spent 10 minutes watching the last 2 minutes of THAT already decided game even up to the point when Heupel (sp) called a timeout with 7 damn seconds on the clock that nearly resulted in a brawl. Riddle me that.

Still. They stuck with it to the 0:00. It wasn't necessary. Game was over, which is my point.

We missed an entire quarter. Then they finally get to broadcasting it with less than a minute to go. I'm okay if they move it to another channel for a bigger game. Just actually DO IT!

OK, we have a blowout game between an A&M team that glob smacked a New Mexico team and wandered around lost against Miami........ playing a Louisiana directional school. Two of those schools were in College Station for a money game

We should have apologized to the nation for scheduling them.

The only thing that is not embarrassing is OP does not have an Ag Tag.

I specifically purchased a tv subscription package that carries certain networks that I know broadcast Aggie football games. If it wasn't for Aggie football, I wouldn't need access to ESPNU, ESPN News, SECN, etc. Apology letter sounds silly, but people certainly have a right to be pissed about the way it was handled.
