Turnovers and no pass rush eat us up. Jimbo goes home and sleeps soundly on a mattress made of hundreds.

We have seen no reason to believe we can stop a Power 5 offense through the air. Until we do I don't have any confidence predicting our games. I had us handling Miami, and for the first 5 minutes it looked like we were off to the races. Then we just refused to make any adjustments on defense.

I have historically been one of the more optimistic fans on this board. I don't think Hugh Freeze is some great coach, or that they have some magic bullet that can beat us. Our OL has been plenty good enough, and the offense will score. I just don't have any confidence Durkin will have the defense prepared to beat Auburn like we should.

Auburn isn't young at all. Almost entirely juniors and seniors, many transfers. They seem like a slightly worse version of Miami to me. Since we're at home, I think we have a good shot at it.

10 transfers, just counted. All but 3 are redshirt seniors.

Anticipating Auburn's offensive line to be better this week and our defensive pressure to be as it was against Miami. That plus poor tackling in the secondary leads me to think Auburn over our Aggies 34-28.

Will be difficult considering we don't generate turnovers. We don't ever make an offense uncomfortable enough to do so.

May be true, but they are 55th in OFEI according to some advanced metrics. They are not a good offense. At least, they haven't been thus far. BCF Toys - 2023 OFEI Ratings

Their defense has been good, but they haven't played an offense with a pulse, yet. So it remains to be seen just how good they will be. They are also a bit depleted on defense injury-wise.

I could see a close game but wouldn't be surprised one bit if we began to run away from them.

Fisher is 1-1 against them at Kyle including winning the last time we played them here 20-3.

They owned Sumlin at home, yes.

The biggest loss Fisher has had against Auburn is 8 points. He's lost by 3, 4, and 8. He's beat Auburn by 17 and 11 in our two wins. The least amount of points he has scored against Auburn at Kyle field is 20, and this offense is clearly his best.

But sure, they are going to walk into Kyle, hold us to 10, and beat us by 21. Reasonable prediction. /Sarcasm. I'll bet you $10,000 we score more than 10, and another $10,000 we cover 21. You in?
