Why are we not playing our State Song " Texas Our Texas following the National Anthem? In 2 years all the Ag Freshmen will think the star song is "The Eyes of Texas" along with the rest of America. A real shame. Add it to the list.

How is the absence of the State and School song not weird?

They are getting ready to introduce the latest pregame song, "TexAgs, our TexAgs"
I can't tell you a lot about it yet. However, the first verse will go something like this:

"TexAgs, our TexAgs

All Hail the mighty Site

TexAgs, our TexAgs

Old People filled with Fright"

But we did get to hear the entire War Hymn for the first time in about ten years.

So, if I get banned, do I still get to play the "Pick Em", I suck at it but it's fun.

You may have noticed that both teams went thru their pregame warm-ups AFTER the entrance. This is all usually done before the official pregame countown begins w Anthem, prayer, State song, Spirit, etc. But bc of rain delay, players needed the extra time so things had to change a bit. Fear not...it should all be back ext week with the most anti-clamactic entrance song ever.

Ps...has anyone seen the t.u. pregame show video with drones doing hook em and longhorn? Hate to say it but it looked pretty cool. We had to wait for our smoke to clear so players could warm up. Did anyone run thru this stuff before hand???

About as bad as all those dudes wearing hats inside the MSC. Full of CT's and not one of them said anything. It's as if students no longer know why it's called the Memorial Student Center.

I told one one student about why we don't wear hats inside and he interrupted me by saying, "Oh yeah, it's because of everyone who joined the Army. My bad."
