that was one of the strangest transfers of all last year. sanders could start for a lot of teams but he chose a school that's had a returning starter who was good. at the bare minimum it would be an intense competition. not quite sure why he chose ole miss.

He's had a bad run lately for sure, and this may be it. The NIL and breakup of the Oklahoma school will really hurt them. Having said that, the dude was always a good ball coach. Say what you want, but we'd have killed to have some of their teams over the years. He always kept them competitive despite being outmanned and outgunned much of the time.

Just a few years ago in 2021, #5 OK State was playing in Big 12 Championship against #9 Baylor.

Just 2 years ago, No. 5 11-1 Oklahoma State was playing No. 9 10-2 Baylor for the Big 12 Championship and a CFP appearance. This year, they both lost home games to Sun Belt teams by double digits. It's crazy how numerous things in CFP have changed so fast.
