Winners Announced!
We are genuinely touched by the spirit , legacy and passion in each story. It is clear that the Aggie spirit runs deep and is cherished by many. It was super tough picking winners because every story was filled with so much Aggie spirit and heart. We initially planned to choose two winners but there were just too many good stories, pictures so we ended up choosing four! Here they are. We included the forums so you could read their stories if you want!

From the Texas A&M football forum: Rebbasser and strbrst777
From the Outdoor forum: SteveBott and Russ79

We want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who participated and shared their memories. It's moments like these that remind us of the amazing Aggie community we're a part of.
Please email suzanne@texags.com to claim your prize!

Howdy, Aggie fans!

September brings with it not only the adrenaline of football season but also Ring Day! We'd love to hear your story about when and where you picked up your Aggie Ring! Share your memories in the comments, and you could win a set of Aggie nesting dolls! We'll choose two winners from across the forums on September 29th.

Let us tell you how our co-founder, Pavlin, got his Aggie Ring. Back in his grad student days, he was tight on cash. But he promised himself that once he landed his first job, that Aggie Ring would be his. And he kept that promise! The funny part? By the time his ring was ready, he was working overseas. So, a buddy of his, now a professor at Texas A&M, picked it up and snapped a pic of the ring chilling on Pavlin's dissertation. Pavlin finally got his hands on it during a trip back to Texas A&M!

Whether it's the thrill of the football season or the pride of Ring Day, we all have moments that make us beam with Aggie pride. Our Texas A&M STAX Nesting Dolls are designed to celebrate those moments:

The Maroon "Home" Uniform, echoing our home ground victories.
The White "Away" Uniform, symbolizing our team's unyielding spirit.
The Special Edition Uniform, a nod to the unforgettable 2012 triumph against MSU.
And let's not forget the heart of Aggieland, our beloved Reveille, and the timeless Gig' Em.

We invite you to visit our website to see the collection or order directly from Amazon.

As Ring Day approaches, gift your loved one a piece that's more than just a collectible. It's a journey
through Aggie traditions, memories, and pride. As Aggie parents and fans, we know how important the time in College Station is and how it can create lifelong memories! We'd love to be a part of yours!

More importantly, to me anyway,is my 2nd Aggie Ring.

My dad played golf with an old Ag. Turns out he was class of '22, as in 1922. He played in the Dixie Classic, and we all know the significance of that. His wife got him a new ring. She asked him what he wanted to do with his original ring. He told my dad he wanted me to have it since I was in the Corps. After I graduated we talked to the association and they agreed. They took his ring and remade it into the Aggie ring I have worn for almost 40 years. Inside is my name and his: Ben B. Beesley '22. I can truthfully say it is my most prized posession!

I came home to San Antonio from Summer Camp at Ft. Sill and a week of summer school at A&M. My ring had been mailed to my folk's house. I opened the box, put it on and worn it ever since.

Some lady in one of the Ag buildings sitting behind one of those half-doors. Gave her my name, she turned around and grabbed it from a box, handed it to me and gave me a gravelly "congratulations". A lot less pomp back then.

Class of 79 member here.

I think I received a letter in the mail that informed me that my ring was in. I stopped by the office that sent the letter and told them my ring had arrived. The lady walked over to a counter and picked up my ring and handed it to me. I said "thanks" and left. She returned to her Diet Coke.

I looked at it the other day and my ring had the name Lyle Lovett engraved in it. Wasn't that the guy that posted notes all over campus that he would be singing at the MSC Basement Coffee House that evening.

Whatever happened to him and I wonder if he has my ring? I wonder how his career as a Journalism major worked out.

Wow, that's truly something special! It's amazing how the Aggie spirit connects generations. Having a ring that carries both your story and Ben B. Beesley '22's is just incredible. It's more than just a ring; it's a piece of history! Thanks for sharing this with us. Gig'Em!

Class of '88.

Ordered my ring at I believe was the Pavillon building.

Went to pick it up at the then new C. Williams Association of Former Students building.

Remember an older lady retrieved and held the box. Had to sign for the ring before she would hand it over.

I have a unique last name... before signing the ledger, I told the lady I wanted to make sure my last name was inscribed correctly.

She gave me an annoyed look, but let me check.

Name was correctly inscribed.

Ring still fits... a little snug.

I blame it on ~36 years of living since received the ring. ;-)

1st day of class, Fall 1982. Walked to the 2nd floor of MSC. Giant room full of tables with little ring boxes on top of all the tables. All of the tables had capitol letters from the alphabet on them. One letter per table. The lady told me to look for the tables that had the first letter of my last name. I found my table, then found the ring box with my name. I took the ring out of the box, put it on my finger and walked outside. No ceremony, ring dunk wasn't a thing back then. When I walked outside the sun made my ring sparkle and made my senior boots shine. That was the best feeling I ever had in my life!

I walked into the basement of the old YMCA building in 1969, stood in line, and then in a moment my life erupted with pride and joy as they handed me my ring! With children and now grandchildren who have followed that path it is even more important to me. It is only second to my wedding ring. I have worn both for over 50 years!

I had enough hours to get mine in second semester of junior year 1959. Picked up my ring at a small building near the Grove. Being in the Corps, I could not wear it on camps. I went to my dorm room, put on my ring and looked at it in the morrow. Went home for the weekend and gave to my gf, later my wife. She wore it on her necklace...not an unusual thing in these days. She is deceased. Several years ago, I had her diamond put in my Aggie ring...it's my most treasured possession.

I got a postcard in my MSC U.S. Postal Service post office box informing me my Aggie ring was ready to pick up.

The next day on my way to a morning class, I stopped by the Association of Former Students where I was one of only about three students there to pick up their Aggie rings. I showed a nice lady my Texas driver license to verify my identity then she gave me my ring.

I then headed to one of my political science classes.

THE END.

That pride and joy have clearly echoed through generations in your family. Over 50 years of wearing both rings side by side - now that's a testament to enduring love and Aggie spirit! Your story is a beautiful blend of family legacy and Aggie pride. Thanks for sharing this heartwarming memory. And that picture? Pure gold! #GigEm
