Reckless driving, is that correct?

Arrested for Reckless driving?

So nothing else involved? Alcohol or drugs? How bad do you have to be driving to actually get arrested for that?

Just watching Durkin makes me angry on the road. Imagine playing for the guy.

If he happens to drive a grey Dodge Charger this has been coming for a while. There is a player that has one and drives like a bat out of hell on a regular basis.

He should have been arrested for piss poor tackling.

I hope that cops wife's boyfriend gave him his chicken nuggets and told him he's a big strong man.

Came here to post this. Notice this doesn't happen at other universities in Texas? CSPD always seems to have a hard on for arresting football players.

Anyone ever mentioned why? Maybe an old Ag that used to work for the city government. Seems like this has been an issue for decades. Any cops on the board that can reach out to CSPD and ask them to stop being total dicks?

The various BCS law enforcement agencies have a hard on for arresting everyone, A&M students definitely included. You just hear about it when it's football players.

Definitely the fault of the police

Bryan cops are typically more chill than CS cops

How about the players just quit being stupid and stay out of trouble? It's really not that hard. This team does not need distractions like this right now.

Especially for traffic related issues. You can get away with murder in BCS as long as you don't speed or park in the wrong place.

They do not care about real crime. I had a friend while in school who's house was being broken into while he was out of town. Neighbor called him and said people were carrying stuff out of his house. Had neighbor since they were in CS call 911. It was a Saturday night and it took 1.5 hours before police showed up. Crooks were long gone with all his stuff.


His house was completely cleaned out. Every electronic, guns, anything of value was taken. No doubt CSPD were busy writing PI's and MIP's at Northgate.

Sounds like he needs to take a driving course.

Hardly a "minor traffic violation" since the Traffic Code calls for up to a 30 day jail term, unlike a Class C misdemeanor traffic violation. Don't be an idiot.

If he was putting you or your family's safety at risk, you'd want him arrested. Don't be an apologist for him just because he's a football player. That's how programs go to hell.

He was driving fast. We all drive fast and if you say you don't you're a liar. The cop is the bad guy in this situation like usual. How many times do we see them blow through red lights and speed but they're somehow untouchable. ACAB

Dude..... did you even read the article? He was going 85mph down Wellborn. That's absolutely reckless and not an ordinary speeding ticket. Several cars had to slam the brakes to avoid getting hit. Yeah, if you're that reckless, you should 100% be arrested.

Pulled over and ticketed, absolutely. Arrested with a $3,000 bond. I don't think so.
