Wiegman saw the field and made great decisions. Before he goes to the NFL he will have to clean up his slow release and lack of tight spiral. Pretty accurate, Against an SEC defenses the passing windows won't be as large and under throws could be an issue. I bet he cleans up the under throws quickly

He has a super fast release. Not sure what you're watching.

Slow release is max and Haynes. I agree cw is quick , doesn't generally telegraph, throws a good spiral, and is quite accurate.

I agree he underthrows somewhat. Part of that is our receivers are dang fast. And he threw catchable underthrows. Instead of overthrowing and missing TD chances
one safe place

I suspect he will improve on the underthrows. Underthrowing isn't as much of a problem when the DB has his back to the ball like when the receiver is running downfield, the receiver can see the ball and make a play on it. Overthrowing takes away any chance of a catch.

Conner had a 236.2 passer rating tonight.

Yeah, read that again. 236.2.

18-23 (78 pct)
236 yds
5 TD
0 int

In 3 quarters.
But but but he's only the 8th or 9th best QB in the SEC

LOL! Our overpaid QB Whisperer really showed how much he was out of touch w/ reality in '22 season. Hope Weigman has a stellar year w/ Petrino's play development & calls.

He does have an unorthodox throwing motion and throws off his back foot alot. It seems to work though…at least in the college level. Gonna have to clean that up for any chance in the nfl

I think similar to JFF, it's the baseball background that helps with that

For Conner to be the first Aggie QB to throw for 5 tds is what I think I heard. Says a lot about adding Petrino and how that will be improving the offense. I think this is a great start, now they just have to keep improving and really keeping the tough defenses guessing. No More excuses for losing, there's too many weapons to fail. The near Future looks bright!
(Opening game, thanks)
