Everyone knows that but it's beside the point. I doubt you would feel very good about a situation where, as a board member, everyone knew an action would be detrimental to one of your initiatives that had brought significant value to the organization. So they deliberately pursue the action while keeping you in the dark and cut a deal. When it's time for the vote, your vote is meaningless because all the other board members have been persuaded without any of your input. So you're encouraged to vote yes to show a unified front to the shareholders. We probably would have been justified to vote no and leave the SEC but they knew we wouldn't because of the pay. But it was pure BS to treat a member that way and it pretty much confirms that we were used to get a better tv deals and once tu insured that wouldn't be eroded, they didn't give a **** what A&M thought.
