I know right? I'm at like 215 bucks for a gig internet and cable. I'd cut them completely but somehow I'm on a little island where att only gives 75mbps and thats my alternative other than satellite

Anybody have a good number to call and yell about this crap?

It does not.

This is a pissing contest between them. Espn app and what not refer you to a website that they have set up.

Spectrum cable has another website that they show instead of the channel

Remind me of years ago when TimeWarner got into a fight with NBC and no one got to see the super bowl. Or Dish and their regular fights with Tenga (owns CBS in Houston) so no A&M vs Alabama.

I just dumped AT&T Uverse TV (kept the internet) for YouTube TV. >$200 per month to $105. 35 for internet and 70 for YTT

For those who use other services, like YouTube tv, how do they stack up in comparison to being live like cable or satellite?

When I stream even using the epsn app it's 5 to 15 seconds delayed sometimes. Is that the same for other streaming options or are they closer to real time like a cable box?

From previous free trial, YTTV was about 30 seconds behind. Don't know if it's better now.

And this blows, just got home to learn there's no espn, no sec network. Where's my discount Spectrum?

I just switched to YTT. No idea what the lag is like since I don't have anything to compare it to. It's not in the minutes or anything. It's not like I'm sitting here at 7:03 waiting for a broadcast to start, or seeing a a live clock on a ticker that disagrees with say my cell phone.

I'm watching it on my tiny phone screen using our DISH login (we have DISH at the ranch). Find a friend and get his DISH or some other cable credentials and login. As soon as we figure out how to cast it, we're gold.

And yeah... EFFING EFF Spectrum and Disney

There are a million options for cable streaming. Stop being a whiny little snowflake and pick a different provider.

Any San Antonio Ags know what service we have at THE Aggie Park? Gonna be hard to have a game watch party Saturday if it's Spectrum.

I switched back to Spectrum when Hulu Live and YouTube TV both raised their prices that it made more sense to bundle because spectrum internet was my only choice. It's also the only way to get Rangers/Stars/Mavs on Ballys. Their streaming is great, we have one box and use their Roku app on our other TVs and have not had any issues until this debacle!

I thought I'd still be able to watch ESPN because we have the Hulu/Disney/ESPN bundle but I guess that only gives you access to ESPN plus.

I hope this is settled before Saturdays slate of games.

Seriously, you could sign up for YouTube TV in about 2 minutes and be watching the game a minute later.

Basic ol YouTube always has every game worth a *****..

Just stream or cast on your tv, never pay child predator mouse

Every streaming service I've used has had a 15-30 second delay. It's just part of it.

I'm currently using Sling because it's dirt cheap compared to everything else.

I'm going to all streaming with Hulu live and the sports package.

Hell, I can't watch ABC on Direct TV so I will miss the week 2 game.

Disney is really sticking it to other providers.

So the only solution is to beef up your Wi-Fi and stream. I actually like it.

I was flipping through channels at my hotel here in Midland and saw several on the channel guide that were blacked out. Im sure Spectrum isn't the only one with ongoing fights.

ESPN has always managed to stick providers with a hefty premium. But if the fights are extending to ABC, it seems pretty obvious that Mouse is in financial trouble.

What was the point of making an ESPN+ bundle subscription if I have to have a tv provider login to watch anything? Times like these really make me miss the pirate streaming every cfb game on Reddit

I live in the forest. I get between 10-65mbps. I have 2 65+ tvs, 2 50+ inch tvs, 1 30" tv in the kitchen and I game… if I'm running half of them and playing an MMO , we're fine.. and we have YTTV so it's all internet
