Well, there's really only 2 or 3 teams that he has to worry about and with 18-20 teams the odds are pretty good you never have to face more than 1 or 2 a year. So 10-2 should be the floor.

So fitting for this game to be shown on a network no one gets while SC St and jackson st play on ABC. Dumbass Pac12

This is not a top 10 team.

USC manages to get a 96 yard kickoff return.

If San Jose State had a competent special teams and the QB didn't take a 20 yard sack in 4 down territory, this game would likely be tied.

We heard the same thing in 2020 when A&M beat Vandy 17-12 and got killed at Tuscaloosa the next week

They do play at ND and at Oregon, but have Utah at home. The ND game is earlier than usual (mid-October).

I don't think they can beat both ND and Utah in back to back weeks. I'd say 10-2 is the ceiling, not the floor.

UCLA sets up nice. No Oregon, no Washington (for some strange reason), and while they play Utah and SC on the road, the latter isn't really a road game. If UCLA can get it going with their relatively easy schedule, look for them to sneak into Vegas.

I also think 10-2 is the ceiling for them this year. Notre Dame looked much, much better than USC did yesterday.

56-28 looks pretty good, but that was almost entirely on the back of Zach Branch. San Jose State does not have a special teams coach and it showed, badly.

They'll be 6-0 rolling into Notre Dame and very well might drop 2 in a row. Then it might be a free-fall for the Trojans.

Wish we'd have been in that kind of trouble v. app st last yr. 28 pt win trouble is good trouble.

Anyone notice how much Anthony Lucas was on the field? Saw he had several tackles but didn't get to watch the game

Ole Piss did it to A&M a few years ago.

I didn't watch much of the game but was following on my phone. One thing I kept thinking was USC will eventually figure it out and score a ton of points. That's a feeling I haven't had about A&M in a while regardless of the opponent.

Hoping we come out guns blazing on Saturday.
