What are some of the best streaming apps for Aggie football? Thinking about doing away with dish, so iPhone and home tv will need to be used.

The most convenient one is YouTube TV. But you are just going to replace a dish bill with a YouTube one for the most part.
Try a free trial of YoutubeTV.. It is free for a week, I think, at least it used to be. There is no contract, it is month to month. Check it out. I made the switch 2-3 years ago. The first step is the hardest. Several other streaming options available other than Youtube tv. There is Fubo, Sling and Hulu just off the top of my head.southernboy1 said:
The stream will be used for channels other that sports. Such as news and whatever the lady wants to watch which is hallmark and cooking etc…

and you don't have all the bs channels
and you can edit your channel lineup to eliminate the channels you don't want to see
and you can order your channel lineup so the channels are in the order you want
other than that, is the same, for the most part.

Hulu+Live TV
better than Youtube TV because you also get Hulu created original content
*** BE WARNED I saw ESPN+ mentioned above but - ESPN+ does not get you anything really by they way. ESPN+ is NOT just a streaming solution for the ESPN channels it is for stuff that is NOT on the channels. Smaller colleges are on there and some of the other college sports like volleyball, etc.. It has golf (not the major events), lacrosse, UFC, La Liga, Bundesliga, Tennis, etc.
You need a provider that carries the ESPN stations. ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and SECN specifically and you need CBS for the occasional game on there. Pretty much Hulu+LiveTV, Youtube TV, Sling and Fubo are your choices. If you have a provider with the ESPN channels then you can login using your provider credentials and use the ESPN app to watch their content that is streamed from those channels or you can just watch that channel on the providers app. But an ESPN+ subscription does not get you that same content.
PS - I really don't recommend doing it via your iphone. Get a simple roku device and connect it to your TV.

Ok I haven't checked in a while but a basic dish package is $79.99 and the YouTube TV package is $72.99. If that qualifies as a MUCH smaller bill then we have different ideas on what much smaller means.
For reference YouTube TV used to be in the $40's and what I would consider much less expensive. I have YouTube TV and love it but it's not significantly cheaper IMHO.

Switching between games while streaming sucks.

Probably for more money…possibly for more options. But maybe it will be immeasurably worse…Iowaggie said:jja79 said:

This. It's just not as convenient.
One savings on Hulu+Live sports or yttv versus dish or direct TV is the ease of pausing months of service versus paying for the months you don't really need for live sports.
One big factor for some is the regional sports network situation. If you want it to watch a favorite pro team, those listed streaming options are not a solution. However, with the near collapse of Bally's/Diamond, that could all change by next the next NHL, NBA or MLB season

To answer OP's question, ESPN app is best.southernboy1 said:

I think it's dependent on the channel. He is Ass My Dude said:
