I've been on vacation and just heard a rumor that the sips are already whining. Did the SEC just make horns down a penalty????

That hand gesture is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Anyone that does it (fan or player) should be fined a significant amount, for not thinking before they act. It's embarrassing when anyone affiliated with A&M does that.
Surprisingly reasonable approach!JDCAG (NOT Colin) said:
Sounds like no....it will be if you do it in their faces, but if you do anything in another players face, it's likely to be a penalty...basically, no special treatment for horns down.

It's dumb when tu isn't even involved. I love it and fully support doing it when they are involved

What's dumb is singing "Goodbye to Texas University…." when we're playing LSU.

Article: SEC is not changing their current policy with regard to hand gestures
Texags: Here we go, the horns are ruining the SEC.
I am not embarrassed. You have my permission to do so!Turkey said:

I don't think it pisses off Horns. It doesn't bother me. Typically, the person doing it looks childish (in a game against the Horns) and idiotic (in a game against another opponent).jkag89 said:
I agree the horns down gesture is somewhat idiotic. On the other hand it pisses off sippie and hence as long as sippie continues to "Pearl Clutch" over it I'm fine with Aggies and others doing it.
So you're saying it does bother you.33 said:I don't think it pisses off Horns. It doesn't bother me. Typically, the person doing it looks childish (in a game against the Horns) and idiotic (in a game against another opponent).jkag89 said:

I agree especially to the second part.Quote:

No, it doesn't bother me. Observing childish or idiotic behavior is not bothersome at all.ccatag said:So you're saying it does bother you.33 said:I don't think it pisses off Horns. Think someone said it best on twitter .... if horns down is a penalty, so should be horns up.
I'll SAVE MY OUTRAGE…for whatever crazy stupid story I CHOOSE to EXPEND IT ON!!!rootube said:
Possibly, but I'll save my outrage for when they do something. The SEC conference is bigger than the horns. This wasn't true in the old SWC and dysfunctional B12 days where most of this fear comes from.

This is flawed logic.
