I wouldn't be surprised to see MSU replace LSU on Bama's 3. Geographically they are the 2 closest schools in the conference and have a long history of playing one another.

Alabama and Mississippi are surrounded by SEC states, on all borders. Lots of close proximity over there in that neighborhood.

Saban and Alabama will get whatever they want. So will tu.

They always do. Isn't it ironic how tu lectured us, blackballed us, and used Baylor as their sock to litigate us when we left the XII? Yup. Where's the Baylor lawsuit now?

And Snakey just let's them walk into the SEC. It's really quite surreal. Soon, most everyone will forget that we are even in the SEC. It will be just like old times.

Jesus. BAS is alive and real.

All of that is true, though, correct? It is indisputable that tu lectured us about going to the SEC without their permission. And Baylor did sue for torturous interference, probably at tu's backing, right? Right? And then tu comes to the SEC and no one puts up a roadblock. You call that BAS? Sorry, but the facts say otherwise.

You don't find it the least bit ironic and surreal?

I'm going to guess that's the part Panzer was saying is BAS. I would disagree with your assertion that your comments are all "true".

I do not believe it is true that most everyone will soon forget that Texas A&M is in the SEC.
You may not be a moron, but some people think you are.

You say that tongue in cheek, but you know the media will fawn over tu in every sport, regardless of their record, and they will get more air time on SEC Nation than they deserve, and they will get better tv slots. We've all seen this movie before. You laugh, but you know that's how it works.

But go ahead and call it BAS. Whatever. They should have never been invited into this league because of their past shenanigans.

The Bama/Tennessee game is one of the primary reasons that the "permanent cross-division rival" format we are currently in exists in the first place.

That game is not going anywhere.

And it has already been explained that the top-tier teams are getting 2 top tier opponents. Bama is not going to get just 1 by swapping MSU for LSU. LSU/Bama is consistently one of the highest rated games of the year- the type of game this format is designed to create, not eliminate.

Lots of whining about tu getting what they want

But it's more about giving arkansas (and all teams) their first choice of who to play.

I'd just rather play & beat OU rather than msu.

Oklahoma football is about to collapse.
Nah, SEC will breathe life and sustain them forever. Being in SEC and that close to DFW, and their tradition, they'll be a big power to be reckoned with.

We'll play them plenty, which is enough for me. And while I'd rather beat OU than MSU, I'd rather be outscored by MSU than OU.
