Don't be ridiculous. Bama would've put up a better fight, sure. But two-loss Bama that didn't play for the conference championship didn't deserve to be in. TCU won two more games than Bama did.

You know who should've been in?? The fightin' Texas Aggies should have been IN in 2020. We were better than Ohio State, Clemson, and Notre Dame.
We absolutely got hosed, and I believe we would've won in the rematch. At the worst, we lose to Alabama by less than a score.

Nah…the seeding was wrong and the Vols should've been in over Bama. The CPF committee should've seeded Ohio St @ #3, but they wanted to avoid an all B10 semifinal. TCU ot Tennessee should've been #4,

And how do you decide the best teams? Just automatically give it to Alabama?

I expect Alabama would have done better tonight than TCU (though I expect they would have still been beaten and the game wouldn't have been in doubt in the 4th Quarter). However, based on everything we saw all season, Alabama was NOT a better team than TCU.

Are you just going to allocate the playoffs by how many high rated recruits a team has? Alabama simply didn't do enough on the field for them to be viewed as one of the best teams (since you don't like the word deserve).

They played them and lost. They couldn't even beat the #2 SEC East team. Lucky to beat A&M.

They 100% did not earn a spot in the playoffs.

And they proved tonight that they didn't belong. Playing in weak conference is not an excuse to back door your way in when you can't win your conference and the team that won the conference gets botched slapped by the third or fourth place team in the SEC.

You must be drunk. Teams are chosen for the playoffs BEFORE they begin based on what they had done BEFORE the playoffs. Based on what they had done prior to the playoff selection (which is all that matters), TCU clearly should have made the playoffs. Is that really hard to understand?
