Hey guys... its been YEARS!
A friend mine asked me "what Ive done to make TexAgs hate me so much" to which I said "well, I didn't know they hated me until now" lol. So, naturally I was curious and had to take a look. Boy, oh boy. I can't say I'm shocked. The internet is a wild place. Although I definitely didn't expect TexAgs to be yet another place posting photos of my VERY pregnant cleavage and having opinions on it or hating on every aspect of me as a person. But what can ya do!
TexAgs is home. So I want to reiterate that just because I share my opinion on A&M when things aren't going very well (at all), doesn't mean that I hate my school. If you listen or watch our shows, I take a TON of heat for not only going to A&M, but loving it. It's non stop off camera as well. But I never shy away from how much I love this school. I'm sorry that some of you seem to think I don't and use it as a reason to make fun of me. But hey, I learned a long time ago, this is part of the territory! Just didn't necessarily think that territory was on my own school's forums, since you know I get it from all angles for just simply being an Aggie.
Spoiler: being one of the only Aggies in sports with a national platform like Barstool's has proven to be harder when Aggies are also mean to you online lol. I'm not a journalist. That's not what we do. And I can't pretend everything is sunshine and rainbows down there if it's not. Hating on me like every other fanbase does doesn't make much sense to me. Other fan bases actually make fun of that too. "Aggies hating Aggies" but hey... you guys do you!!
Thank you to everybody who has supported me and followed me since the beginning. I know my career path or current employer isn't a huge favorite with some of you, but it's been a dream ride for me. Anyway, seeing as I'm not necessarily a friend of the program anymore, I don't anticipate this changing anything. But one thing that I know is that no matter where my career takes me, A&M and TexAgs will always be home. So I thought I'd take some time to say what's up, I love A&M and if we do happen to make it down to Texas for a live show, try not to throw stuff at me or anything.
Soapbox over. Happy 2023 and gig 'em!
