Does anyone remember these FOR SURE:

1975 season
WR Mike Floyd's jersey number
S Jackie Williams' number

And a defensive player with the last name Thompson - his position and number.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I don't remember (wasn't alive), but I found a newspaper clipping w/ the 1975 roster.

Mike Floyd #41 SE
Jackie Williams #20 S
William Thompson #17 CB

May I ask why you ask?

If memory serves, Mike Floyd was also played on Shelby's BB team for several years in the early '70's.
Mike was a scrappy guard from Harlam who was A&M's top free throw shooter for many years.

I produce a college football card/dice game and could not find those 3 things. I don't want to offer a team for sale unless it's complete and accurate.

Thank you so much for the info.

Is that the Legends game series? I noticed an ad for that a couple months ago and sent the link to a friend, thinking the Friday night game would be great for the dad who's a retired hs coach.

Here's the clipping for the complete 1975 roster, if anyone is interested. For some reason, Newspapers.com clippings always turn out oversized, so I'm just going to give an image link instead of imbedding it.

*well, Texags code recognized the link and imbedded the image anyway.

Takes me way back to my childhood reading some of those names. At the half of one spring game, my brother and I were playing a quick game of football with Bucky Sams' little brother. And yes, we were doing this on Kyle. Now, could it have been after the game, yes, but my memory is that it was at half. We used to go on Kyle all of the time back then.

Some great players on that roster. Their sizes are amazing. In 74 A&M had one of the biggest lines in football including the NFL.

I have a game #2 Jersey (it's small) from sometime from "77 - 82" . It's maroon with the 2 white stripes. Whose jersey could this have been?

One more, Cody Risien was a senior at Cy-Fair while I was in 8th grade at Arnold. The schools were fairly attached back then, as in I could walk in to Cy-Fair during the day no problem. Cody was the biggest man I had ever seen, and his girlfriend (won't name or add a pic, sorry) was an angel and the prettiest girl in the world, she was a TA and was always at Arnold for HS credit of some sort.

I became friends with Cody's younger brother, Flint, also and Aggie lineman who was a year ahead of me at Cy-Fair. I did meet Cody when he was matched up with me in Jacob Green's golf tourney one year, just a really good dude.

The Mike Floyd who played basketball was from Ohio. He was dark haired. Also ran track in HS.

I remember Tony Franklin wearing number 1. Maybe after Carl Roaches graduated.
