With all the roster additions and subtractions, it would be really nice to see an updated roster / depth chart. Is there one floating around yet?

On a serious note, so much is going to change over the coming months why worry about it?

Apparently we have 13 more scholarship spots to fill.

I'll let you do the math to prove otherwise.

Assuming that we don't get any of the portal guys back, that's about right. I think that some of the portal guys will find the grass really isn't greener on the other side. And we will add some other guys from the portal. Maybe give scholarships to a couple of walk-ons to get to 85.

This puts at 70 current scholarship players. I also think we add Caden Jones and a WR in the February period. That would put us at 72 scholarships and 13 spots to use in the portal. I can also add to this list when we add portal additions.

Is there any word yet on Ainias? We are down to 4 scholarship receivers without him. Would be huge.

We need 3 receivers, 3 defensive backs, 3 linebackers and an OT out of the portal to feel good about 2023 season imo. They don't need to be starters, but we are really thin at those spots. Would love one of those linebackers to be a starter.

My buddy Vince started a list for you OP, but you'll have to finish it.

Smith will have to make his decision soon and you are correct on the DB's and LB the OT they will get but i think we will be fin at WR.

We do not need 3 WR from the portal. If Smith leaves we need at least 1 and if he stays we should push for a HS WR. LB we have 6 currently and 3 with experience including 2 with starting experience. We really only need to find an upgrade here. Or try to find someone willing to be a backup

We probably will not touch OL unless it is a perfect fit.

And really we only NEED 1 more CB/S depending on our NB situation.

Everything else is just filling in the roster to get to 85 which we don't have to do but the closer the better.
