I'm not going to weigh in on whether I believe Dabo is sincere. But if he is being hypocritical, or saying that to increase his profile as a coach, then that would be textbook using the Lord's name in vain.

Why not both? If you put half as much effort into feeding some folks as Dabo puts into his work they might get some grub.

I'll admit if I heard all of his talk, I might have a different take, but based on this excerpt, how is this any different than TAMU being based on it's six core values (RELLIS) and the Aggie honor code as I understand it. Where do you think those core values come from?

Hard to argue with Dabo's results in turning that program into a consistent contender, but his rhetoric usually comes off as pretty performative.

The thing that is sad is that this country affords each of us the opportunity to believe what we want to. Some people are not okay with that and want to criticize or condemn those that don't believe the way they want them to. It's all about choice and belief and the freedom to do so. This would be a very boring place if we were all exactly alike and that would be sad.
